Can I ask the Mentor to help me find a job?
We strongly discourage asking a Mentor for a job. The Mentor’s have committed their time to help the mentees in their professional career by sharing their experience, providing advice and engaging in a discussion. They are there to act as a sounding board and can be used as such for job related questions. However, offering a job or helping find a job is not part of the mandate of this program. We therefore encourage applicants to seek avenues other than this program if the goal is to find a job.
